The students that participate in the Harriet B. Webster Task Force for Student Success come from the Wake County Public School System (WCPSS).

WCPSS is the second largest school district in North Carolina and the 21st largest in the United States. Student population has doubled since 1990. As of 2006 - 2007 the WCPSS student population is approximately 128,000 and is expected to grow another 130,000 students by year 2026.
